Re the Blairgowrie Pipe Band.
WW2 brought a halt to the band as many members for to join the forces. As soon as practicable
at the end of the war they were up and running once more.
They achieved a fair amount of success in various competitions and won The MacPherson Shield
at Aberfeldy 3 times.
The last Pipe Major was a Mr Kelly of Craighall.
