In the event of a tie, the outcome shall be dependant upon the performers final Piobaireachd place.</div> <div> “Events 1 and 2” are intended for <I><B>genuine</B></I> learners as a means of encouragement.</div> <div> A “Novice Piper” is defined as, <I>“A piper who, by </I><I><U>the closing date</U></I><I>, has never been placed </I><I><U>First</U></I><I> in ANY solo piping contest”.</I></div> <div> Entries must be lodged with the “Executive Officer” by 1st August, annually, and must be accompanied by </div> <div> The proper entry fee. </div> <div> £3 for each Chanter event </div> <div> £4 each for events 3, 4, 5a & 5b</div> <div> £8 for Event 7</div> <div> <B>A self addressed and stamped envelope</B></div> <div> The <B>“Champion of Champions”</B> is for previous <I>“Scottish”</I> winners and/or by invitation of the organisers.</div> <div> Trophies and Shields will be signed for on the day and retained for <B>ten months</B>, <U>or</U> returned when required by the organisers.</div> <div> Only the <B><U>competitor and his/her tutor</U></B> will be permitted in the tuning area and rooms.
