Harry Beattie

     Harry is an ever present Piper in the Arbroath district. For as long as Piping has been popular in the area of Arbroath, there has always been a Harry Beattie.  If there was a band playing, there is Harry. Someone wants to learn, there was Harry.

     You only have to pick up the local paper to see what he has been up to.

     There are many Pipers, past and present, who owe their start to the teachings of Harry and if you take a walk down to the British Legion Band practice, you will still find Harry working away and producing the next crop of players.

     Harry is a retired member of our Society, but always welcomed at our door.
