Pipe Major Rob Hoogenhout
Our picture shows Rob in a relaxed mood, during his Carnoustie stay.
Rob never forgets that he is one of our Society's more distant members, who always keeps in touch with affairs.
Pipe Major Rob Hoogenhout, is one of the leading lights of the Pipe Band Association of The Netherlands where he is a valuable technical advisor.  Until recent years, Rob was Pipe Major of The Lowland Division Pipes and Drums, based in Zwolle, but was persuaded to move across to an emerging Dronten Pipe Band.  His drive and determination proved to be a magnet in the area as members were drawn to him.  Rob maintains very high standards, and expects the same from those around him.
Needless to say, Dronten are lifting prizes as though it were going out of fashion and the band are now about to emerge on the Grade Three platform.
Rob is truly supported by his wife Lia, and children Crystal and Roddy.
