In many Scottish homes, we would see in Hogmany, have a dram and then waited for the Hoogenhout phone call, even as the bells were still ringing out.</div> <div>             "MacHoogie" was a well known, respected and highly accomplished Piper, teacher and advisor especially in the Netherlands.  Quite simply he was one of the main "Grafters" in an area where Pping is as busy as ever these days.
